bootstrap 5 nav item title color [closed]

I have a dark navbar with white links that is displaying icons only. When you hover over an icon, it displays the title text. That’s what i want on expanded menu. On a mobile device, when you expand the hamburger menu, it shows the icons but not the title text. I would like the title text to be displayed in the same color as the icon in whatever state the item is (hovered or not). I have searched and cannot find an answer to this. Thanks.

Edit: I asked this same question earlier and marked it as answered. Apparently it worked with Bootstrap 4 or I have changed my colors somehow. At any rate, it isn’t working now.
