Is it possible to make card slider from a card slider with HTML CSS?

I’m trying to incorporate the idea mentioned in the question, but I’m confused on how to approach the idea.

I’m making a card slider with let’s say brands such as Ford, dodge, …etc.
I would like to be able to click on the brand and it list cars of that brand in a card slider fashion as well.

Is this possible to do with just HTML and CSS? (I’m trying to just work on my HTML and CSS skills so minimal Javascript/React would be nice)
