The International Pharmaceutical Federation has adopted the 25th of September as World Pharmacists Day, to be celebrated annually starting in 2009 AD. It invited all national pharmacists associations that have an official relationship with the World Health Organization to celebrate World Pharmacist Day in an appropriate manner; With the aim of educating the community about the role of pharmacists in improving and promoting health care.
